Overview

Management Accountant role at Nfuzion in Harrogate. Salary £40,000-£48,000. This is a commercially minded Management Accountant/Finance Manager role to support the Finance Director/Managing Director in a FMCG manufacturing business on the outskirts of Harrogate.

Responsibilities

• Management of Invoice Factoring facility
• Variance analysis and discrepancies investigation
• Processing of weekly and monthly payroll
• Daily, weekly and monthly management reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Maintain and update fixed asset register
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts
• Support the Finance Director with the preparation of year end statutory accounts and R&D submissions
• KPI reporting
• Cash flow forecasting
• Support with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
• Presenting the management accounts to the board
• Opportunities to progress to FC level and study support

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role within finance or accounting
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
• Ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified; qualified by experience can also be considered; PQ can also be considered with study support
• Strong knowledge of month-end process and ledger management principles
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting; strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Hybrid working with 2 days working from home. Hours: 8-4pm Monday to Friday (flexible start and finish times). 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Due to the rural location, own transport is required to commute to the offices. Commutable from Ripon, Skipton, Leeds, Ilkley, Otley, Knaresborough.
