OverviewJob Title: Marine Broker BackupLocation: London/Hybrid (Typically 3 days in the office)Salary: Negotiable depending on experienceType: Full time - PermanentAs a Broker Backup, you will support the lead Broker with proactive, high-value assistance and act as the lead broker when the lead broker is unavailable during busy periods. This is a great stepping stone to becoming a full-time Broker.ResponsibilitiesAct as the lead broker when required.Work directly with the Underwriters.Assist in reviewing client renewal information.Draft slips and endorsements.Initiate the contract drafting process, including updates and production of final contract documentation.Support brokers in preparing submissions, compliance and regulation tasks.Track the placement status of assigned accounts and update information accordingly.Deal with clients and reinsurers directly, completing all documentation.Respond to client requests for information, including reinsurer details, financial reports, and industry issues.Required qualificationsExperienced in any Marine Lines of Business (Cargo, Hull & Machinery, P&I, Liabilities, Yachts, etc.).Desire to be client-facing and act as lead broker when required.Ability to work in the London office at least 2 days per week.Job function / IndustryJob function: Other, Information Technology, and ManagementIndustries: Banking #J-18808-Ljbffr
