Recruitment Consultant at Venn Group | Specialist in Roles within Not-for-Profit Fundraising & MarComms

Venn Group is delighted to be supporting a charitable organisation based in London in the recruitment of a Marketing and Communications Manager. This full-time hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of impactful marketing and communications activity that supports fundraising, awareness-raising, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with the organisation’s goals
• Manage and maintain the organisation’s brand, ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications
• Create engaging content across a variety of platforms including print, web, email marketing, social media, and press
• Lead on digital communications, managing the organisation’s website and social channels to increase reach and engagement
• Oversee media relations, writing press releases, and building strong relationships with journalists and media outlets
• Support internal communications and ensure key organisational messages are communicated effectively across teams
• Collaborate with fundraising, service delivery, and leadership teams to ensure messaging is coherent and aligned
• Analyse performance metrics and report on campaign effectiveness, adjusting approaches as necessary
• Manage the communications calendar and work with external suppliers and freelancers as needed
• Previous experience in a marketing and communications role, specifically within a charity or not-for-profit environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content to a range of audiences
• Experience managing websites and social media platforms, with a good grasp of digital tools and analytics
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for increasing visibility and engagement
• Knowledge of brand management, PR, and content creation
• Experience supporting internal stakeholders and working cross-departmentally to deliver integrated campaigns
• Familiarity with email marketing tools, design software, and website CMS

Location: London – Hybrid working available

Duration: 2 year FTC (potential to become permanent)

Working hours: Full-time – 35 hours per week
