Marketing & Communications Manager - National Role
We are BUKO Traffic & Safety - a trusted name in temporary traffic management, bringing together the experience of Road Traffic Solutions (RTS) and Hooke Highways under one united brand. Role Overview
The Marketing & Communications Manager is responsible for defining, implementing and overseeing all marketing, communications and brand-related initiatives. This includes developing and executing marketing, communication strategies along with managing the brand's image and messaging through building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a Marketing and Communications Strategy that is aligned to the groups budget, vision and values. The strategy and associated plan should encompass all media channels inc Website, digital channels and PR along with the development of sales and marketing collateral to support both lead and pipeline generation.
- Develop and implement lead generation campaigns for promotion to a qualified database in SalesForce.
- Work alongside the Head of Bids to ensure that all materials in the bid library are aligned to the companies brand guidelines.
- Analysis of market trends, competitor activity and customer insight to inform SLT decision making.
- Leverage relationships with Industry associations to ensure maximum impact is achieved through our membership eg involvement in events, committees and seminars.
- Work with Group MD and Sales Director to ensure visibility at relevant industry events including production of branding and supporting materials to maximise ROI.
- Produce Event and Exhibition Analysis to report ROI to the UK SLT and Exec Board.
- Create and maintain an internal brand framework for the UK and implement change management programmes to rebrand current and new acquisitions in the UK.
- Create and implement external brand and communications, aligning with the Sales Director to maximise impact of the rebrand.
- Work with the Group MD and wider SLT to set Brand Values that align to communications for the Performance, Reward and Culture of the UK business.
- Create and manage the communications strategy for branding, lead generation and acquisition integration.
- Create and manage content for social media, websites, newsletters, and press releases.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
- Develop external branding communications aligned to the Sales channels.
Leadership
- Act as the internal champion for brand integrity.
- Collaborate across departments (Operations, HR, Legal, SHEQ) to align marketing and communications objectives with business priorities.
- Create a positive working environment and team culture.
- To be viewed as a ‘thought leader’ in the market that builds trust and creditability across our core target markets.
