Mechanical Design Engineer Role:

You will report directly to the Engineering Lead.

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Produce electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation designs that are cost-effective and meet client specifications
• Produce and check all design specifications, schedules, drawings, and calculations
• Ensure designs comply with CDM Regulations
• Utilize standard designs and practices where possible
• Deliver design outputs within agreed timescales and budgets
• Coordinate design outputs across disciplines
• Prepare monthly project status reports
• Establish relationships with construction staff and supply chain to promote buildability and efficiency

About the Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Degree or equivalent qualification
• Chartered in a relevant construction discipline
• Experience in the Water Treatment Industry
• Knowledge of CDM and Construction Health & Safety
