Medical Negligence Solicitor — Cardiff

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK's most highly regarded Medical Negligence practices. Our team is ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, and led by Julie Lewis, Regional Head for the South, who is widely recognised for her expertise in complex and high-value claims.

You'll be part of a team that makes a real difference - helping clients and their families through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. From birth injuries and delayed diagnoses to fatal claims and inquests, you'll be working on cases that truly matter.

The Role

• Running your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, including litigated cases.
• Assisting senior colleagues on high-value and technically complex claims across a wide range of medical disciplines.
• Providing clear, compassionate advice to clients, guiding them with empathy and professionalism.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to deliver exceptional outcomes.

About You

We're looking for a solicitor with:

• 3+ years' PQE in claimant Clinical Negligence.
• Proven experience managing a caseload, including litigated work.
• Strong technical ability, combined with empathy and a client-focused approach.
• Experience assisting on high-value, complex matters.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive, close-knit team.
