A brand new, boutique Quantity Surveying practice is looking to add a client-facing and bright MEP Associate Quantity Surveyor to their growing team in Central London. The MEP Associate Quantity Surveyor will be leading all MEP projects and have the opportunity to grow the MEP team from scratch. Hybrid working is offered.

The MEP Associate Quantity Surveyor will be joining an up-and-coming cost consultancy looking to grow their MEP team, with a strong pipeline of work. You would join a brand-new, ambitious and hardworking team of 3 Quantity Surveyors, including the two Directors and one Senior Quantity Surveyor. They are an incredibly supportive and social team who strive for success for the business and their employees.

Role

The MEP Associate Quantity Surveyor will work on a range of Commercial projects across central London with contract values from £1.5m to £600m. You will come in with the opportunity to grow the MEP team from scratch; the company aims to have a team of 5 MEP surveyors. You will have full autonomy in the role and will be running all MEP-related activities with support from the founding Directors if needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead all MEP projects and manage client-facing activities
• Support and grow the MEP team from scratch
• Manage commercial aspects of projects across central London
• Collaborate with Directors and senior colleagues to deliver projects

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or RICS-accredited degree
• Preferably MRICS
• MEP/M&E experience
• Experience within the Commercial sector
• Experience within a private practice / consultancy
• Strong pre- and post-contract knowledge
