Role Description

We are seeking a full-time National Account Manager in retail to join our expanding team. We have grown 250% and now in all the major retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons and 10,000 plus stocking points as well as all the meal boxes including Gousto, Hello Fresh, Mindful Chef. Experience in FMCG is absolutely essential including food/drink and fresh is a bonus. This is a hybrid role based in Guildford. The National Account Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with national retail accounts, developing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets. The role involves regular communication with key stakeholders, negotiating contracts, analysing sales data, and ensuring growth. The National Account Manager will also work closely with marketing and senior team to align sales strategies with company goals.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years experience in managing national retail accounts in major retailers including Tesco and Sainsbury's; developing sales strategies is essential.
  • FMCG experience in food/drink is essential; chilled experience is a bonus.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly numerate with experience in sales data analysis and forecasting; ability to develop actionable insights
  • Experience working with marketing and senior teams
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Based in Surrey or commutable to Guildford; minimum 3 days a week in the office
