Skills for Care has an exciting opportunity for a National Culture and Diversity Lead to join our Culture and Diversity Team. The purpose of this role is to plan, organise, manage and ensure the successful delivery of specified programmes of work across all aspects of EDI. The focus of the team is a body of work on the Social Care Workforce Race Equality Standard (SC-WRES) Improvement Programme which is rolled out within local authorities and must be maintained, implemented and improved upon. Through your work you will positively influence equality, diversity and inclusion within the social care sector through your contributions to programmes such as SC-WRES. Your expert knowledge will enable you to build and maintain relationships within the sector and confidently engage care providers, local authorities and national stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a flexible and dynamic social justice thinker who has a high level of project management experience and be able to develop strategic EDI projects for the social care sector.
