Requirements

Are you ready to lead a team that helps create safe, clean, and welcoming communities? As our Neighbourhood Services Manager, you’ll guide a dedicated group of Neighbourhood Services Officers to deliver top-quality, customer-focused estate services across our neighbourhoods. You’ll oversee a wide range of operational areas from cleaning and grounds maintenance to pest control, waste management, communal repairs, and health and safety. You’ll also manage key service contracts like car parking, CCTV, and door entry systems, making sure they meet performance standards and offer great value. Budget management will be a key part of your role, including forecasting, coding, and consulting with residents and leaseholders on service charges. You’ll work closely with contractors, colleagues, and external partners to monitor service delivery, resolve issues quickly, and drive continuous improvement. Beyond the day-to-day, you’ll help shape policies, support compliance, and lead neighbourhood initiatives that make a real difference to residents’ quality of life.

About You

We need a confident, collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll understand the importance of well-maintained neighbourhoods and are passionate about delivering services that truly reflect the needs of the community. You bring a strategic mindset to managing contracts and budgets and will always be looking for ways to improve. You’re comfortable working across teams, engaging with residents, and making decisions that balance operational efficiency with community impact. If you’ve got experience in contract and team management, a solid understanding of neighbourhood services, and strong budget-handling skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Don’t feel you meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that some candidates are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single requirement. At ISHA, we are dedicated to building an inclusive workforce, so if you’re excited by this role but your experience doesn’t quite align perfectly, we encourage you to apply anyway. You just might be the right candidate for this, or other roles, because of your transferable skills.

Our drive comes from the communities we’re rooted in and here to serve, and we’re proud of all we’ve achieved together over the past few years. They guide our decisions, inspire our thinking, and help us build a more inclusive and diverse organisation; one where everyone feels empowered to bring their whole self to work and thrive. We believe we can only be a brilliant landlord if we work alongside brilliant colleagues. Could that be you? Could we trust you to help make a real difference?

We will invest in your professional development with on-going learning and career development.

If you’re looking for a place where you can be your authentic self and help shape stronger communities, we’d love to hear from you.

Asking for adjustments

At ISHA, we’re committed to making our recruitment process as accessible and barrier-free as possible for everyone. We want all candidates to feel supported and confident throughout their journey with us. If you’re disabled, neurodiverse, or living with a long-term health condition, we’re happy to make adjustments at any stage of the application, interview, or assessment process. Whether that means providing information in a different format or making specific changes to how we work with you, we’re here to help. If there’s anything we can do to make things easier or more comfortable for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
