The role

This is a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

London or Manchester (Hybrid working model, 8 days per month office based)

Competitive Salary plus performance related bonus

We’re looking for an experienced Network Architect to play a key role in the separation of services from our supplier and the design of a secure, scalable future-state network. This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of DCC’s enterprise IT strategy, supporting major initiatives such as licence renewal, cloud migration, and digital workplace transformation. You’ll work alongside the Enterprise Architect, IT leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver resilient network solutions that will underpin our next phase of growth.

What will you be doing?

  • Conduct a deep dive into the current network design, identifying vulnerabilities and future requirements.
  • Translate the “as-is” network state into a “to-be” design, supporting procurement and RFP activity.
  • Assess integration requirements across multiple providers and internal platforms (HR, Finance, Vodafone).
  • Collaborate with Enterprise IT, Security, and other stakeholders to align network design with wider strategy.
  • Provide commercial insight into requirements, feasibility, and cost considerations.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in network architecture within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture domains (network, application, data, security).
  • Hands-on expertise in network design, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS) and familiarity with Zero Trust principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to document, present, and influence at all levels.
