In the Network & Infrastructure Architect role, you’ll apply your professional expertise to design, build and manage our portfolio of brands and technology solutions. This role is part of Kimberly-Clark's International Family Care and Professional (IFP) business and may transfer to a new venture with Suzano mid-2026, subject to consultation and applicable legal requirements.
Position Summary
We seek a skilled Network Architect to design solutions that meet enterprise architecture standards and organisational objectives. The role includes developing strategies for productivity, communication, and collaboration, with expertise in mobility, cloud hosting, workflow, unified communications, and client platforms. Responsibilities include driving adoption of these technologies, shaping capability roadmaps, providing industry thought leadership, and sharing knowledge to support collaboration and mentoring.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide proactive technology network design support in the analysis, design, planning and governance of programmes, projects and change initiatives.
- Identify improvement areas and current issues with the network and develop a plan to address them.
- Deliver practical, commercially viable network designs which meet business requirements, are delivered to an agreed time, cost and quality and remain aligned to the technology roadmap, policies and standards.
- Retain key intellectual property by collaborating and sharing network designs upstream and downstream in the delivery lifecycle. Provide support, guidance and gain buy-in to network designs and ensure solutions are owned with enduring development, test and support environment capability.
- Support deliveries with robust risk assessment/mitigation. Proactively seek and resolve technical design issues and identify deviation from initial solution recommendations regarding project sourcing and assurance.
- Clearly communicate network design, key design decisions and approaches to interested parties, stakeholders, project bodies and relevant governance/assurance forums.
- Develop, maintain, apply and share an in-depth knowledge of technology strategies, architecture and technology roadmaps.
- Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in the strategic application of technology.
- Identify market trends and apply new technology to give a competitive edge.
- Pursue a “Cloud First” attitude when developing network solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of SDN, evangelise its benefits and encourage colleagues to consider and take advantage of its features when designing.
- Develop solutions that improve business effectiveness through service improvements and savings.
- Collaborate with outsourced service providers to find better ways to deliver service.
- Critique outsourced service providers’ designs ensuring they support the strategy of resilient, self-healing networks.
Key Qualifications And Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree with strong relevant experience or demonstrated skills.
- Analytical ability with attention to detail and understanding of commercial constraints; knowledge of all stages of systems development from specification to implementation.
- Expertise in productivity, communication, collaboration, and related technologies; ability to influence at all levels, lead teams, and manage effectively.
- Experience in Unified Cloud computing environments (private cloud, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and application hosting approaches.
- Knowledge of network routing, switching, segmentation, firewalls, and voice/video components in an operational office environment; ability to connect and collaborate across a global organization.
- Ability to enable and integrate application platforms.
- Understanding of ITIL practices focusing on operational efficiency, delivery speed, agility and automation; data-driven analytics and service management practices to improve efficiency and user delight.
