Operations Manager/ PA - Hybrid working

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a city-based boutique Legal Recruitment firm. The role offers a hybrid working model: 2 days in the office near Bank Station and 3 days WFH.
You will support a close-knit, friendly, yet busy team, with a varied role that will keep you engaged. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a similar role and a diverse skill set to assist with office management. Additionally, you will support the Director with PA duties.
Experience in recruitment or legal sectors is beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Operations Management: dealing with office landlord, ordering supplies, organising events, managing insurance, liaising with suppliers, managing pension schemes, updating company policies, managing phone contracts
- Recruitment & Admin Support: liaising with clients and candidates, formatting CVs and business plans, managing databases, responding to client requests, supporting with market research
- PA Support: diary management, travel arrangements, restaurant bookings
- IT: handling IT matters, audits, security, onboarding/offboarding
- Finance: invoicing, billing, expenses using Xero, chasing unpaid invoices, managing company bank accounts, VAT, and tax payments
- Marketing & Business Development: managing LinkedIn, creating content, writing adverts, producing market updates, developing marketing materials
- Website Management: updating the company website, managing domain names and trademarks
- Compliance & Certifications: managing GDPR, REC membership, ICO renewal, cybersecurity certifications
This role is vital to the smooth operation of our office and team, requiring a proactive and versatile individual.
