Parent and Family Worker
New Yesterday
Overview
Are you passionate about making a positive difference in children and families’ lives? We are recruiting to join the Stronger Families Team (SFT). This is a unique opportunity to work within a dedicated multi-professional team to meet the needs of children, young people and families in a strength-based, family-focused approach.
The Stronger Families Team, formed in 2022, is a non-statutory support service providing targeted and creative support to children and family members in crisis, where there is risk of breakdown, to improve outcomes and support more children and young people to live/remain safely at home and in their communities. This aligns with our practice standards and the Families First Partnership Programme in Nottinghamshire.
These positions support the Central and North of Nottinghamshire and form part of the countywide service offer. The service expansion will recruit a new team manager, two parent and family workers, two youth workers, and a SWSO role to develop our offer to families and young people both at the edge of care and in stabilising/supporting existing care plans.
