An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the payroll team, within the recently restructured Finance Department, at the University of South Wales. As one of the largest higher education providers in Wales, the University provides an ideal setting for individuals to develop their careers, nurture their talent and make a difference.
Based at Pontypridd, this role will undertake a range of Payroll and Pensions activities, processing the day-to-day activities of the payroll function and ensuring that all staff within the University and PSS Ltd are paid accurately and timely and in accordance with current legislation and relevant policies.
You will have practical experience of Payroll and Pensions activities and ideally will be conversant with current HMRC statutory regulations and calculations.

This is a full time (37 hours per week), fixed term position. We are currently operating a hybrid-model of working. However, the successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week based at the Pontypridd campus of the University of South Wales.
