Payroll Manager
We are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing payroll operations for a high-volume employee base, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with wider business goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the payroll team to deliver accurate and timely monthly and annual payroll services in compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements.
- Align payroll operations with the organisation’s broader objectives, optimising processes and leveraging data for informed decision-making.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders, proactively managing expectations and workloads.
- Embrace digital innovation and technology advancements to drive continuous improvement in payroll services.
- Provide regular, data-driven reporting including performance indicators, project updates, and statutory compliance.
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a payroll team in a high-volume environment.
- Extensive working knowledge of payroll software and systems.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines effectively.
- In-depth practical knowledge of statutory and legislative payroll regulations, including workplace pensions.
- Professional payroll qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- A thorough understanding of technical, legislative, and regulatory payroll matters.
