About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Manager to join a well-established business based in Wood Green. This hybrid working role offers a salary of £50,000 and as part of the payroll team, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
This is a 12 month FTC with the possibillity of being made permanent.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage payroll and ensure compliance with GDPR and HMRC.
- Maintain payroll records, deductions, pensions, and third-party payments.
- Prepare reports, journals, and reconciliations for HR and Directors.
- Oversee petty cash, credit cards, and financial processes.
- Line manage Payroll & Accounts Assistant and support process improvements.
What Experience is Required
- Supervisory experience, ideally in payroll or finance.
- Running in-house payroll systems.
- Payroll reporting and understanding of accounting ledgers.
- RTI and payroll year-end processing.
- Payroll and pension legislation knowledge.
- Payroll projects, system reviews, and audits.
- Managing and motivating staff, and dealing with senior-level external contacts.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £50,000 per annum

Location
The role is based in Wood Green, North London. However, you will only be required in the office twice per week.
