MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a technology-based organisation based in Belfast to recruit for a Payroll Officer on a part time, permanent basis.
This role needs previous experience within payroll but will give you well rounded exposure within accounts payable, banking & reporting.

The Role
The Payroll Officer role is a key position within the finance team, supporting the company\'s continued growth and success. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role is integral to ensuring smooth payroll operations, accurate financial reporting, and efficient billing processes. The Finance Officer will play a vital role in maintaining the company\'s high standards and supporting its ambitious growth plans.
- Prepare payroll for approximately 90 staff members.
- Generate financial reports to support decision-making processes.
- Manage purchase ledger and bank & cash transactions.
- Provide product billing support as required.
The Person
The ideal candidate for the Payroll Officer role will be detail-oriented, organised, and proactive, with a strong background in payroll and financial operations. They will be eager to contribute to a growing team and possess the skills necessary to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Essential:
- Experience in payroll management.
- Strong organisational and reporting skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in purchase ledger and billing processes.
