Payroll Officer

Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Coalville based client in their search for an experienced Payroll Officer to join them on a long term temporary basis, offering an immediate start. You will be working as part of a dynamic payroll function which is responsible for taking ownership of weekly and month payrolls from start to finish for 1000+ employees. This position offers hybrid working and there are permanent prospects due to their continued growth.
Daily duties and experience required includes:
- Minimum of 12 months experience, working within a payroll department
- Processing starters and leavers
- Calculating holiday and national insurance
- Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP
- Manual calculations experience
- Query resolution
- Up to date payroll legislation knowledge
- Confident user of Excel
