We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Payroll Specialist with strong IRIS Cascade experience to join our Group Payroll Team within People Operations.
If you are confident using IRIS Cascade to manage end‑to‑end payroll processes, deliver accurate and timely payroll services, and support a fast‑paced business, this role offers a great opportunity to make an impact.
This hybrid role involves working in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, while supporting payroll operations and reconciliations across multiple payrolls within the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing multiple monthly payrolls accurately and on time using IRIS Cascade, including new starters, leavers, and statutory payments.
- Managing end‑to‑end payroll reconciliation for 1,500 employees.
- Administering and auditing expenses in line with company policy.
- Handling payroll queries via phone, email, ServiceNow, or face‑to‑face.
- Ensuring compliance with PAYE, National Insurance, and pension regulations (HMRC and TPR).
- Uploading net wages into banking systems and managing timely payment runs.
- Completing all month‑end payroll activities and reporting, leveraging IRIS Cascade.
- Supporting acquisitions, onboarding new entities, and integrating payroll data through IRIS Cascade.
- Assisting with system upgrades, implementations, and migrations, with a focus on IRIS Cascade functionality.
- Maintaining data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality across payroll and HR systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a high‑volume payroll environment.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with IRIS Cascade is essential.
- Experience supporting system migrations, data imports, or acquisitions, particularly within IRIS Cascade.
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- A proactive and solutions‑focused approach, able to perform under pressure.
