THE PEOPLE TEAM
The People Team are based across several locations in the UK, working both onsite with Agencies and remotely. We are a professional, close-knit team, comprising of 15+ specialists in Strategic Partnering, Resourcing, L&D, and People Services.
This hands-on role reports to the Senior People Business Partner and provides valuable exposure to stakeholders and Agencies across the Group.

Role
The Role

Responsibilities
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As a People Business Partner (PBP) or Senior People Business Partner (SPBP), you’ll work closely with agencies across the Group, taking ownership of key cyclical people activities such as performance and development, pay reviews, and calibration processes. You’ll play a vital role in shaping and delivering People Plans that are fully aligned with business objectives, driving meaningful, measurable outcomes.
A core part of your role will involve providing expert advice and support on a wide range of employee relations matters, from straightforward to complex casework. You’ll take a proactive approach, using insights and data to identify root causes, spot trends, and improve casework processes. By doing so, you’ll help strengthen our organisational capability and elevate the employee experience.
You’ll act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, guiding them through all things people-related while building strong, credible relationships across the business. Your influence will extend across multiple workstreams, from organisational development and talent planning to succession, employee relations, and broader HR initiatives.
Collaboration is key you’ll work closely with colleagues across the People Team to champion a ‘one team’ approach, always looking for opportunities to challenge, improve and deliver on our People Priorities.
Qualifications
WHAT DO I NEED?
Knowledge & Experience
- Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or working towards CIPD qualification (or equivalent) with equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
- Experience of working across multiple locations / multiple businesses.
- Track record in building credible and trusted relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
- Significant experience of managing a variety of employee relations cases.
- Experience leading and managing complex projects (such as redundancies and TUPE) through to successful conclusion.
- Experience supervising and developing team members.

You’re a confident and capable HR professional with a knack for juggling multiple stakeholders, projects and priorities across a diverse business landscape. Working at pace comes naturally to you, but you never lose sight of the detail your high standards shine through in everything you do.
You’re a skilled communicator and influencer, able to engage senior leaders with credibility and confidence. You know when to manage expectations and when to challenge constructively, always with the bigger picture in mind. Your strategic thinking and commercial insight help you deliver solutions that are not just people-focused but also aligned with business goals.
Curious by nature, you’re always looking for ways to improve how we do things, and you bring a thoughtful, risk-aware mindset whether that’s employment law, timelines or operational impact. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, using sound judgement to make well-informed decisions and provide trusted advice.
Above all, you’re passionate about enabling people to do their best work. You care about service, results and getting it right.
You’re also flexible and open to occasional travel and overnight stays, working across locations to support our teams wherever they are.
