The People Team are based across several locations in the UK, working both onsite with Agencies and remotely. We are a professional, close-knit team, comprising of 15+ specialists in Strategic Partnering, Resourcing, L&D, and People Services. This hands-on role reports to the Senior People Business Partner and provides valuable exposure to stakeholders and Agencies across the Group.

The role

This is a dynamic, all-rounder role packed with variety. The People Team support all Agencies in achieving their plans. If you are passionate about people and helping senior leaders create people-centric cultures, this could be the perfect role for you. What will I be doing?

As a People Business Partner (PBP) or Senior People Business Partner (SPBP), you’ll work closely with agencies across the Group, taking ownership of key cyclical people activities such as performance and development, pay reviews, and calibration processes. You’ll shape and deliver People Plans aligned with business objectives, driving meaningful, measurable outcomes.

You’ll provide expert advice and support on employee relations matters, from straightforward to complex casework. You’ll take a proactive approach, using insights and data to identify root causes, spot trends, and improve casework processes, strengthening our organisational capability and employee experience.

You’ll act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, guiding them through people-related topics while building strong relationships across the business. Your influence will extend across organisational development, talent planning, succession, employee relations, and broader HR initiatives. You’ll collaborate with the People Team to champion a ‘one team’ approach and continuously improve our People Priorities.

What do I need?

Knowledge & Experience

  • Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or working towards CIPD qualification (or equivalent) with equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
  • Experience of working across multiple locations / multiple businesses.
  • Track record in building credible and trusted relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Significant experience of managing a variety of employee relations cases.
  • Experience leading and managing complex projects (such as redundancies and TUPE) through to successful conclusion.
  • Experience supervising and developing team members.
