Role OverviewAs a People Business Partner, you’ll act as a trusted advisor and internal consultant to managers and teams across the organisation. With a full generalist People remit, you’ll champion employee experience, drive high performance, and deliver strategic support that aligns with business goals. From embedding our values to guiding leaders through change and growth, your role is pivotal in shaping a culture where people thrive.
This is a hybrid role, with regular travel to our Shipton-under-Wychwood and Bishops Cleeve offices for team days, key meetings, and to maintain People Team visibility across the business.

What we're looking for
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Proven experience as a People Business Partner in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Expertise in learning and development planning, including course design and delivery
- Strong experience supporting managers through performance management, talent development and change initiatives
- A proactive mindset with the ability to coach, challenge, and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills, with a strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism
- A collaborative approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
You'll be someone who is:

Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Highly organised and able to balance multiple priorities
Empathetic, credible and commercially aware
What you'll do
- Partner with managers to embed People practices across all functions
Coach leaders to develop high-performing, engaged teams
Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance and talent management
Work closely with the Senior People Business Partner to embed DE&I initiatives and ensure consistency of approach
Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Partners and Head of People to attract, retain and develop talent
Identify learning needs, design and deliver development programmes, and measure their impact
Act as a sounding board to managers and a trusted source of feedback for senior leadership
Champion a high-performance culture through continuous feedback and engagement strategies
Contribute to strategic people initiatives such as succession planning, organisational design and change programmes
Monitor people data and trends, recommending policies and process improvements where needed
What Success Looks Like
Improved engagement metrics, such as BCI scores or equivalent
Strong leadership capability developed internally through coaching and training
High-performance culture embedded — the right people, in the right roles, doing the right things
Real-time feedback becomes part of everyday conversations
Scalable teams and structures without adding unnecessary management layers
Salary
Salary range: £48,000 - £57,000
