This is a maternity cover role for up to 12 months.

We are operating a hybrid approach to working with a mix of home and office-based working. We are based in a very accessible location within the M25, just 20 miles from central London

We re looking for a People Business Partner who will work closely with our leaders to help them enable their teams to be at their best by offering expert guidance, coaching, and support. The successful candidate will champion best practices, nurture employee engagement and be responsible for overseeing the entire employee life cycle.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide guidance, coaching and advice to people leaders and their teams implementing best people practices and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • End to end management of people relations cases, providing advice and solutions to people leaders on performance, disciplinary, grievance, sickness matters.
  • Act as the primary contact for employee enquiries including people policies and procedures, and workplace matters.
  • Partner with leaders and line managers to identify and address organisational development and workforce development needs.
  • Assist in the embedding of our new performance management approach and processes.
  • Play an active role contributing to the employee forum network, leading engagement survey activity and listening groups.
  • Supporting the Head of People on our salary review and benchmarking processes for competi-tive and equitable compensation practices.
  • Support our strategic people priorities, including embedding our behaviours into everything we do and bringing our wellbeing strategy to life across the organisation.
  • Work with the People Administration Specialist to provide timely data and insights on key people metrics.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with external partners to maximize their effectiveness.
  • Produce workforce reports and use people metrics to identify trends and key priorities.
  • Collaborate with the People Administration Specialist to ensure payroll, benefits, and bonus payments are accurate.
  • Embed compliance and governance across People processes such as IR35, GDPR, internal audits and ad hoc projects.

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive understanding of ER practices, policies, and procedures.
  • In depth knowledge and experience applying current employment legislation and best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and qual-ity outcomes.
  • Ability to quickly establish trusting relationships with stakeholders.
  • Collaborative approaches with managers and leaders to encourage independence and open dia-logues, reducing dependence.
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills with stakeholders to achieve business outcomes
  • A team player who exemplifies our behaviours.
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills.
  • Experience with cloud-based HRIS systems such as BambooHR.
  • Proactive in making positive changes to work processes and approaches.
  • A growth mindset and a desire to help the team continually improve.
  • Ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights using data.
