The Role

As Personal Tax Manager, you’ll be managing a portfolio of private clients, overseeing the delivery of self-assessment tax returns, and providing high-level planning advice including IHT, CGT, and trusts. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and supporting the wider tax team on both compliance and advisory projects.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage a varied portfolio of private clients
• Deliver personal tax compliance and advisory work
• Provide expert advice on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and trusts
• Support junior team members and potentially take on line management responsibilities
• Maintain high standards of documentation, client care, and technical delivery

About You

• ATT/CTA qualified with 3+ years of relevant tax experience in a managerial role
• Up-to-date knowledge of personal tax legislation and planning
• Effective communicator and relationship builder
• Confident managing client portfolios and mentoring junior team members
• Professional, organised, and solution-oriented
