Are you a Service Delivery Manager who has experience is the hosting and cloud space? This is a very large service within Defence where we need you to own and influence the delivery of Platforms and Hosting Service across the account. This includes both on-premise and off-premise network, compute, storage and enabling services. As a Service Owner for Platforms and Hosting, you will need to understand the top level architecture, for example how Virtual Platforms Operate, strengths/weakness/understand risks etc. This is critical to ensure your service runs in line with the clients expectation.

This role is Hybrid with 2 days a week working from our Portsmouth OR Salisbury site.

You do need to be eligible for SC Clearance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Responsible for the delivery of the platforms and hosting service.
• Drive growth of this service through customer, vendor, and internal team engagement.
• Contribute to and prioritise a backlog of activities aligned to your service.
• Accountable for delivering the roadmap and strategy.
• Report on costs, performance, availability and usage of the service and trends over time to the account and the customer.
• Make sure the account has the sufficient skills and headcount to optimally run and improve the service and service the backlog and future states.
• A regular user of the service you own so that you understand it from a user perspective.
  
  

• Experience owning and leading a technical service related to hosting or cloud.
• Experience and knowledge of cloud and hosting technologies to drive and deliver business benefits and growth.
• Experience engaging with senior partners and speaking publicly to various forums.
• Operate tooling for the purpose of data analysis and reporting.
• A strong customer focus with a desire to deliver service perfection.
• Strong negotiation skills.
