PPC Account Director – MG OMD

Location: Greater London, England, United Kingdom

MG OMD are searching for an experienced PPC Account Director to join their award‑winning team. The role requires building strong relationships with clients and media partners, leading search strategy across accounts, and driving commercial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement search advertising strategies aligned with client business goals.
  • Lead search planning, including growth mapping via the maturity framework and evaluating latest products and vendors.
  • Advocate strategic direction to clients and stakeholders, ensuring PPC complements other paid media.
  • Provide strategic leadership and support to the account team; manage relationships, resources, and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to commercial agreements, bookings, billings and utilisation.
  • Support new business pitches and act as a point of contact for day‑to‑day client performance.
  • Maintain high‑standard campaign delivery and implementation across Google, Microsoft, SA360 and bid‑management platforms.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 10+ years of paid search experience, with proven account leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of Google Ads; experience with SA360, Microsoft Ads, and bid‑management platforms is a plus.
  • Strong commercial acumen – forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and client‑management skills.
  • Leadership experience – onboarding, coaching and developing specialist teams.
  • Strategic thinker, proactive, able to thrive in fast‑paced, collaborative environments.
