The opportunity to join Stantec as a Principal Asset Management / Regulatory Advice Consultant. Our Asset Management and Regulatory Advice teams deliver solutions across the Water, Energy and Infrastructure sectors, helping clients realise financial and social value from their assets through systems-thinking and collaborative delivery.

We are recruiting a number of Principal Asset Management / Regulatory Advice Consultants to join our London, Reading, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow or Bristol offices with hybrid working options.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver innovative system-based Asset Management solutions throughout the Asset Lifecycle.
  • Support client service and Technical Directors with the development and delivery of programmes, projects and technical outputs.
  • Provide technical expertise to projects, guiding and mentoring less experienced team members to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Externally build relationships with clients and identify opportunities to provide strategic asset management consultancy services.
  • Contribute to career development within the team and support the expansion of services across UK clients.

About You

  • Experience in a senior asset management or regulatory role within primarily the regulated water/energy sectors.
  • Track record of generating solutions to complex industry problems, either in a consultancy or client-side environment.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management, regulation policy and strategy, and experience in assessing and managing asset management risks, lifecycle decision-making and developing asset management plans in highly regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and to mentor colleagues.
