The Opportunity

We’re seeking Senior and Principal HVAC Engineers to join a leading engineering consultancy delivering critical projects across the UK. This is a hybrid role with opportunities to work on high-profile projects from concept through to commissioning. We would also welcome applications from these industries: nuclear, defence, pharmaceutical, energy-from-waste, and industrial manufacturing.

The Role

This role would suit candidates working in these roles: HVAC Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Ventilation Engineer, Project Engineer, Principal Mechanical Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer, HVAC Project Manager, Design Lead, or Technical Engineer.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

  • Lead or contribute to the design and specification of HVAC systems for complex, safety-critical environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Support commissioning activities and technical handover to clients.

You will have the following qualifications and experience

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in HVAC design and engineering within regulated sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant professional certifications or SQEP status are advantageous.
