Your new role
You will be responsible for three key areas:

  • Strategic Leadership: Deputising for the Head of Service, contributing to programme governance, investment planning, and aligning delivery with long-term corporate strategies.
  • Team Management: Leading and developing a growing team of Project Managers, Assistant PMs and Apprentices, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Project Delivery: Personally managing flagship capital projects (£15m–£50m+), acting as Client Representative and Contract Administrator under JCT and NEC contracts, ensuring compliance, value for money, and stakeholder satisfaction.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in delivering complex capital projects from inception to completion.
