Service Care Solutions is working with a highly regarded Legal 500 firm, based in Wiltshire, which is seeking a talented Private Client Solicitor to join their busy Agriculture and Landed Estates Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely alongside a partner with an established and varied caseload, advising clients on a wide range of private client and tax planning matters.

Job Details

• Role: Private Client Solicitor – Agriculture & Landed Estates
• Location: Wiltshire – Leading Legal 500 Company (Hybrid options available)
• Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: Full Time

The Role

• Advising on Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax.
• Offering tax‑efficient solutions for wealth succession and family business structures.
• Drafting and advising on trust documentation, family partnerships, and related bespoke agreements.
• Assisting with estate administration, including complex estates (though this will not be the main focus).
• Supporting a partner while also managing your own workload independently.

About You

• 3+ years’ PQE in private client work.
• Strong knowledge of Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax in the context of family businesses, landed estates, and farming enterprises.
• A solid understanding of trusts, settlements, and asset protection strategies.
• Agricultural client experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
