Senior Private Client Solicitor - Private Client | Legal 500 Ranked Team | High Net Worth Clients | Hybrid Working

A leading legal practice with a strong reputation for excellence is seeking a talented and experienced Private Client Solicitor (8+ PQE) to join its highly regarded team in Leeds. This is a senior-level opportunity for a confident individual to take on a Managing Associate or Director role and play a pivotal part in advising high net worth individuals and owner-managed businesses.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a broad and varied caseload of complex Private Client matters, as well as supervising and mentoring junior team members. This will include:

• Drafting and advising on complex wills, trusts and estate planning, including cross-border matters and inheritance tax mitigation
• Handling the administration of estates and matters involving powers of attorney
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, developing long-term relationships and delivering exceptional service
• Collaborating with colleagues and external professionals on business succession planning, foreign asset management and HMRC compliance
• Engaging in business development, including networking and generating new client referrals

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience in Private Client law, including dealing with complex estates and trust structures
• A strong understanding of the interplay between Private Client, Corporate, Property and Family law
• Proven experience advising high net worth individuals and business owners
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex legal matters in a clear and approachable way
• A proactive, commercial mindset and a passion for delivering a high standard of client care
