Private Client Solicitor – Huddersfield

I am working in partnership with a highly respected Yorkshire-based law firm to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor to take on a leadership role at its Huddersfield office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client lawyer who is looking for genuine flexibility—whether that means part-time hours, reduced days, or hybrid working—in a firm known for its family-friendly values and supportive environment.

The Role:

This is a senior position with team leadership responsibilities, reporting into the wider management structure. You will:

• Lead the Private Client team in Huddersfield, with joint responsibility for the department’s performance and development
• Manage a busy caseload of wills, probate, trusts, estate planning and related matters
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues within the team
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
• Contribute to business development and departmental strategy

About You:

• A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with strong experience in Private Client work
• Able to demonstrate technical expertise across wills, probate, trusts and estate planning
• Experienced in, or ready for, a team leadership role
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, people-focused approach
• Committed to delivering excellent client care
