Product Analyst

As a Product Analyst at Pugpig, you’ll have a multifaceted role that touches all areas of our business. Critically, you’ll help grow our best-in-class publishing platform by uncovering actionable insights and backing up our decisions with data.
This is a role that puts you at the heart of a dynamic product team and vibrant business that truly believes in using data and strong product thinking to build the best platform possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to define success metrics and measurement requirements for new features, product changes or initiatives
- Identify and monitor key indicators to understand product performance and identify areas for improvement
- Be a champion of insights within the business, helping to drive understanding and adoption of analytics tools and best practices, and bringing interesting data to light
- Share actionable insights with the product team to support data-driven decision making
- Work alongside product designers to uncover user pain points and opportunities through behavioural data
- Act as the product manager for our insights products ensuring they meet evolving customer needs
- Own our tracking implementation, ensuring accurate end-to-end tracking of customer journeys and product interactions
- Own and develop our analytics documentation, ensuring clarity and shared understanding
- Support team members across the business with ad hoc analysis to aid better understanding of user behaviour and business performance
- Occasionally collaborate with customers to ensure their tracking needs are understood and met

Job Requirements
You have an analytical background with a passion for using data to solve problems and inform decisions
Experience with self-serve analytics platforms (e.g. Mixpanel preferable, GA4, Amplitude helpful)
You’re action-oriented, can identify where and how you can make the most impact and drive yourself to do so.
Confident turning data into actionable insight and using it to drive decision-making
Skilled at communicating findings to a wide range of team members with varying levels of data familiarity
Proficient in visualising data to uncover trends and highlight opportunities
Confident working with a range of stakeholders with distinct needs and using data to bring clarity and alignment
Preferable: Familiarity with digital products, ideally apps, and the management thereof
