Product Design Lead
New Today
About the Role
Are you ready to shape the future of energy flexibility in the UK? Want to lead the design of innovative products that help Britain achieve Net Zero?
If so, come and join us!
The Opportunity
As our Product Design Lead, you'll be at the forefront of one of the most dynamic areas in the energy industry. You'll lead the development of high-performing flexibility products, with a focus on grid-scale battery storage, helping to decarbonise the UK energy system and deliver value to customers.
You'll work across commercial, operations and technology to bring new propositions to life. From shaping product roadmaps to collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll help us deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions that support our growth and strategic goals.
This is a hybrid role, with the flexibility to work from home and attend one of our offices as required. We would therefore accept applications from outside of London.
Who You Are
We\'re looking for a Product Design Lead who thrives on innovation, collaboration and commercial thinking. You\'ll bring experience in designing and delivering commercial energy or flexibility products, along with strong knowledge of the UK wholesale and flexibility markets. You\'ll be confident applying modelling and valuation techniques to assess product performance, and translating customer and business needs into compliant, high-performing solutions. You\'ll also have experience working with technology teams in an Agile or iterative environment.
What You\'ll Be Doing
In this role, you\'ll lead the end-to-end design and delivery of flexibility propositions, managing the full commercial lifecycle of the products from pricing to performance. You\'ll coordinate delivery across Tech, Ops and Business Development, and conduct user research to inform product strategy and design. You\'ll monitor market and regulatory trends to identify new opportunities and ensure our products remain competitive and impactful.
Pay, Benefits and Culture
Alongside a starting salary of circa £70,000 per annum (depending on experience), potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.
