Role Overview
Betway is seeking a Product Designer to join its Product team in either North London or Madrid. This role focuses on creating intuitive, high-impact user experiences across Betway’s sports betting and casino platforms. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Product Designer will lead research, design, and iteration to ensure user needs and business goals are seamlessly aligned.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct user research to understand needs, behaviors, and preferences
- Translate insights into intuitive and engaging design solutions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and final designs using Figma
- Apply user-centered design principles and usability best practices
- Leverage data tools to monitor product performance and drive improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define problems and align on goals
- Present and justify design decisions backed by research and data
- Iterate on designs based on usability testing and feedback
- Maintain and enhance the design system for scalable, consistent output
- Explore UI animations and ensure they enhance user journeys
- Stay updated on UX/UI trends and emerging technologies
Qualification / Requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proven experience designing for digital products and managing multiple projects
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with front-end development impacts
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and apply animation appropriately
- Skilled in user research methodologies and data-driven design decisions
- Strong visual aesthetics and attention to detail
- Experience in the online gaming or casino industry
- Knowledge of sports betting mechanics and compliance regulations
- Strategic mindset with a systematic, efficient approach to design
- High adaptability, curiosity, and empathy for all stakeholders
