We are a fast-growth company and have already gone from 10 - 210+ employees in the last three and a half years.
The role
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a passion for building disruptive enterprise software products to transform the financial services industry.
As a member of our Product team and acting as product owner, you will drive the expansion of Proxymity’s platform, capabilities and associated revenue, with a focus on all data related products and features.
You will have a key voice in actively shaping ourVote Connectproduct strategy, analysing and quantifying new opportunities for product evolution, and working closely with the wider management team to prioritise and lead the agile delivery of new features and solutions.
To succeed in your role, you will have had extensive experience in shipping complex software, utilising innovative technologies and delightful user experience to deliver value to large and demanding customers.
You will have worked in productive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to move products forward, using your innate and researched understanding of customers’ needs and behaviours to define new capabilities and launch them to market.

Responsibilities:
- Act as complete product owner for existing and new products and features that form part of our data theme
- Support products throughout their entire lifecycle – from business case and prototyping to implementation and continuous improvement
- Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to conduct product research, capturing complex or ambiguous needs and translating them into strategy and deliverables
- Aggregate product requirements and negotiate constraints to deliver simple, intuitive and holistic solutions for customers
- Ensure alignment and effective communication across all relevant stakeholders to facilitate successful product delivery
- Define and embed core metrics and reporting to drive product performance and improvement
- Create customer, market and competitor analyses to explore new growth areas and inform product positioning
- Plan and define product strategy, prioritising roadmap items and implementation schedules in collaboration with commercial and development teams
- Work with technical writers and the marketing to team to create and maintain internal/external facing product documentation
- 5+ years of experience, acting as product owner and with a track record of designing and delivering innovative and ambitious new products
- Experience working on data-related projects (e.g. a database migration)
- Demonstrable success working with an agile tech team to deliver outcomes
- Clear and concise communicator, comfortable engaging with internal stakeholders as well as external partners and customers
- Understanding and appreciation for superior user experience and UX design processes
- Knowledge of modern product discovery methodologies
- An innovator’s mindset, excited about creating products that reinvent the industry by transforming existing processes and capabilities
- Strong creative will, resilience and flexibility as well as independent working style
- Problem solving capabilities, attention to detail and commitment to excellence and accuracy
- Cross-functional collaboration, working productively and successfully across teams.
