We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced Product Manager to join our Insurance team on a 10-month fixed-term basis. This role will be a hybrid role, where you will spend two days in the office in Bradley Stoke and three days at home.
The core function of this role is to undertake a broad range of product management activities across all insurance products and will play a key part in ensuring our insurance products are designed, delivered, and maintained to return positive customer outcomes while delivering key business targets.
What You’ll Do…
You will manage, maintain, influence, and oversee our products from end-to-end across a diverse range of operating models, including:
- Reviewing products across the operational model, proposition, distribution, journeys, and fair value to ensure sustainable performance and customer outcomes.
- Analyzing and reviewing product KPI’s, operational and product performance MI, and complaints data to ensure optimized outcomes for the business and our customers (including target states per consumer duty requirements).
- Proactively identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities and support delivery of change projects.
- Be responsible for coordinating the Product Governance Committee pack and minutes on a monthly basis.
- Manage delivery of actions coming out of audits, committees, and product reviews.
- Continuously review the end-to-end customer journeys (PCWs, Digital, IVR, contact centre, etc.) for all products to identify pain points and ensure our journeys are optimized.
- You’ll become an RAC product expert and will be given the tools and support to get there.
What You’ll Need…
You’ll ideally have a strong knowledge of the general insurance industry, the value chain, and regulatory requirements / best practices, along with the following:
- Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products, operating models, and trading dynamics.
- Product governance experience, ideally in Insurance / Financial Services.
- Drive, enthusiasm, and proactivity to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable stakeholder management skills and good negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail when it comes to Project Management.
