As a Games Product Manager at Awager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our products. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, and ensure that our gaming experience meets player expectations while aligning with our business goals. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting market research, and making data-driven decisions to optimize the player experience and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision. Define long-term goals and objectives and prioritize features and improvements accordingly.
- Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, player preferences, and competitive analysis. Use this information to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that outlines the release schedule for new features, content updates, and game improvements.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, artists, engineers, and other teams to ensure the successful execution of the product roadmap. Foster a collaborative environment that promotes creativity and innovation.
- User Experience (UX): Champion the player experience by conducting user testing, analyzing player feedback, and collaborating with UX/UI designers to optimize game interfaces and gameplay mechanics.
- Leverage extensive experience: working with online gaming products and services to identify and integrate key differentiating features, setting our products apart from the competition.
- Wireframes and user flows: Drive the creation of wireframes, prototypes, user flows, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and KPIs to measure the performance of games and released features. Make informed decisions based on key metrics such as player retention, engagement, and monetization. Conduct thorough user and competitive research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and refine product features.
- Industry trends: Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in online gaming to inform and enhance product development strategies.
- Quality and support: Ensure that games and features meet high-quality standards, and address player concerns promptly.
- Launch planning: Plan and execute successful product launches, including marketing and promotional strategies to maximize player acquisition and retention.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the online gaming industry, casino including knowledge of key players, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Understanding plyers motivation and mind set.
- Communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Able to work remotely, proactive and can-do approach
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent English verbal communication and writing skills - a must
- Experience in working with remote development teams - a must
- Experience in product management in the agile environment
