About this opportunity
Lloyds Banking Group is embarking on the most ambitious transformation in its 300-year history—reimagining what a bank can be in the digital and AI age. As we evolve into the UK’s largest Fintech, we’re not just modernising systems—we’re reshaping the future of Financial Services. This is your opportunity to lead at the forefront of a once-in-a-generation shift, where purpose meets innovation, and your expertise will help power a new era of intelligent, customer-centric banking.
As a Product Owner in our Resolving Financial Crime Lab, you’ll be at the heart of a mission that truly matters—protecting our customers, our communities, and the integrity of the financial system. This role is deeply rooted in purpose: transforming how we respond to financial crime alerts generated by ground breaking data, insights, and machine learning tools. Today, more alerts mean more manual work, more colleagues, and rising costs. Your challenge is to break that cycle—leveraging the latest technologies and agile thinking to deliver smarter, faster, and more scalable solutions. From sensitive investigations to high-stakes cases involving sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), and criminal activity, the consequences of our decisions are profound. This is a space primed for innovation, where your leadership will shape intelligent, ethical, and efficient ways to resolve financial crime—astutely, appropriately, and with impact.
