Job Title: Product Owner (with Business Analyst Experience)

Location: Hybrid (1x/month in Leeds)

Duration: 6 Months

We're seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong Business Analyst experience. You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering user-centred digital products that improve services across the NHS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with strategic goals and user needs
• Define product vision and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders and delivery teams
• Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Act as a key liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and users
• Conduct stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and process mapping
• Support agile ceremonies and ensure the team has clear goals and requirements
• Monitor product performance, iterate based on user feedback and data

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, ideally in agile, cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience as a Business Analyst
• Demonstrable experience working within the NHS, central government, or wider public sector – essential
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels
• A user-focused mindset with a passion for creating accessible, inclusive services
• Familiarity with GDS standards and agile delivery in government settings is highly desirable
• Experience with service design and user research
• Certification in Product Ownership or Agile methodologies (e.g. PSPO, SAFe, Scrum.org)
• Exposure to digital transformation projects in complex organisations
