We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Analyst to join us at our unique Head Office in Renfrew which includes our state-of-the-art gym with weekly circuit training, a personal trainer and yoga classes as well as the Beeks Bar or weekly masseuse to help you unwind!

About the Role

The Project Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving delivery excellence across Beeks’ project & service delivery portfolio. This individual will use analytical insight and proactive problem-solving to ensure effective governance, visible risks, and data-driven decisions. The successful candidate will be forward-thinking, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where precision, accountability, and continuous improvement are key.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure and seeks smarter, faster, better ways of working. You’ll play a key role in ensuring visibility, consistency, and control across our programmes, while helping shape the evolution of our projects team into a more data-driven, insight-led function.

Key Responsibilities

Governance and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to agreed project management standards, frameworks, and methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, hybrid).
  • Maintain accurate, auditable project documentation.
  • Act as quality gatekeeper for project artefacts.
  • Promote governance awareness and accountability across delivery teams.

Reporting and Performance Insight

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports for all stakeholder levels.
  • Analyse trends in delivery, financials, and resources to identify risks and improvement areas.
  • Lead automation and data visualisation enhancements to strengthen decision-making.
  • Translate data into actionable insights supporting planning and prioritisation.

Project and Portfolio Support

  • Partner with Project Managers to maintain delivery plans, RAID logs, and project controls.
  • Support portfolio prioritisation, capacity, and resource forecasting.
  • Coordinate project reviews, team meetings, and cross-functional updates.
  • Maintain project management templates, guidance, and toolkits to standardise delivery.
  • Mentor teams on the effective use of tools, templates, and governance.

Service Delivery Oversight

  • Monitor service metrics and SLAs, ensuring smooth project-to-operations transitions.
  • Work with Service Delivery teams to resolve issues and remove bottlenecks.
  • Highlight risks and performance trends to support continuous improvement.
  • Align project outputs with operational readiness to deliver long-term value.

Tools, Systems, and Data Management

  • Administer and optimise project management tools (Jira, MS Project, SharePoint).
  • Maintain version-controlled repositories for project documentation.
  • Support automation and integration between project and business systems.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Enhance project delivery processes, templates, and workflows for efficiency and scalability.
  • Capture and embed lessons learned across initiatives.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the projects team, evolving it toward a more strategic, data-driven, and insight-led function.
  • Introduce innovative ideas in automation, reporting, and delivery practices.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Analytical Expertise: Advanced Excel and data visualisation (e.g. Jira); able to turn complex data into actionable insights.
  • Project Methodology: Knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL, or hybrid frameworks.
  • Project Tools: Proficient in Jira, MS Project, or similar platforms.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; confident engaging and constructively challenging senior stakeholders.
  • Organisation: Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Service Orientation: Experience or interest in IT/service delivery; familiarity with ITSM/ITIL advantageous.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactive in identifying inefficiencies and driving process improvements.
  • Resilience: Works well under pressure, maintains accuracy, and delivers results through persistence and problem-solving.

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience developing or improving portfolio reporting dashboards.
  • Familiarity with financial forecasting, cost tracking, or portfolio planning.
  • Interest in FinTech, technology infrastructure, and automation.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
