OverviewProject and Delivery Manager (FTC, 12 months) with a background in coordinating and delivering projects within the education industry. Join National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) to contribute to a leading independent charity with a worldwide reputation. Hybrid working: 2-3 days per week in Slough office.Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 (DOE)Job Type: FTC 12 monthsAnnual Leave: 30 days plus 4 paid closure daysPension Contributions: 10% employer contributionsFamily Support: Enhanced maternity/parental leave and paid compassionate leavePosition Summary: You’ll join the operations team to develop, plan and implement the operational delivery processes of various projects, including surveys, randomised controlled trials, assessments and test trials. A key focus is project delivery, school relationship management, data collection and supporting internal and external clients.
Engage with schools to collect data and organise survey and assessment completion, including preparation and delivery of materials and training and deployment of administrators and markers. Support the improvement and development of customer-facing platforms as part of project work. Work with project leads to agree and monitor schedules, ensuring projects are delivered to time, budget and quality expectations; escalate changes as appropriate for the end-to-end process.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver a range of projects within education or research environments. Manage data collection, logistics for surveys and assessments, and client communications. Plan, monitor and report on project schedules, budgets and quality measures. Escalate risks and changes to project scope as needed.
Qualifications
Experience delivering and managing projects within education or a research environment preferred. Aptitude for using technology, forward planning, logical thinking, and strong written communication. Ability to translate complex tasks into practical, actionable steps.
