Conrad Consulting are currently in partnership with an AJ100 practice, seeking a Project Architect with approximately 2-5 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Birmingham, West Midlands.

The practice has become a prominent force in the architectural industry across the UK and internationally, with offices in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. It features consistently in the AJ100 and prides itself on developing and supporting Architects to realise their full potential.

Due to an increase in workload, the Birmingham office is now seeking an Architect with approximately 2-5 years of post-qualification experience to join their talented and ambitious team. You will have the opportunity to work on highly notable projects across sectors including Healthcare, Education, Residential, Commercial, and more. An Architect with both design and technical capabilities is required for this position, and job running experience is essential.

The practice has embraced a hybrid working model, currently employing a 3 days in the office / 2 days from home pattern. Mondays and Thursdays are core office days, with the third day of your choice. If you prefer to work in the office 5 days a week that is also acceptable. The practice also has an office in Shrewsbury, so time can be shared between the two offices if convenient.

Responsibilities

• Work on highly notable projects across Healthcare, Education, Residential, Commercial and other sectors.
• Apply strong design and technical capabilities to project delivery.
• Utilise good organisation skills and manage tasks effectively; prior job running experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Parts 2-5 qualified and ARB registered.
• Chartered member of RIBA.
• Approximately 2-5 years of post-qualification experience, ideally within a private practice and preferably in the UK.
• Experience on projects within the listed sectors, with a focus on Healthcare being beneficial.
• Excellent organisational skills.

Benefits & salary

Salary in the region of £38,000-£45,000, alongside a competitive benefits package.
