What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the management of schedules across multiple disciplines within BAE Systems, national and international partners
- Supporting the generation and ratification of resource demand across your remit, ensuring appropriate resource levelling and embedding supply solution intel into project planning
- Supporting monthly cost reporting against baseline and previously forecast positions, ensuring data integrity of actual costs, impact assessment of cost performance is understood, and estimates to complete are robust
- Supporting the maintenance of baseline changes and incorporation of contract/customer scope changes
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of monthly project reporting pack, ensuring quality narrative is provided to enable project decision making
Your skills and experiences:
- Demonstrable varied project control experience across a number of project control skills (e.g. risk management, scheduling, cost management, resource management)
- Keen attention to detail and a drive to hold high standards of quality
- Strong project scheduling experience in complex environments
- Project Management Professional Qualifications
- Microsoft Project Experience

The FCAS/GCAP Project Control team:
The FCAS/GCAP Project Control Team supports the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) which is an exciting tri-national endeavour to develop a next generation fighter aircraft. The programme is at the start of its lifecycle which provides opportunity to help shape the foundations of the programme which will endure for decades into the future. The Project Control Team is a dynamic team of highly skilled individuals who provide data and performance insights to assist with managing the programme, and we are growing and evolving. You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge, with the potential to lead into more senior positions within the business. This role may have opportunity for national and international travel.
