The Role – What You’ll Do

As Project Controls Manager, you’ll lead the integrated controls function, ensuring projects are built on robust planning, cost discipline, and proactive risk management.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership & Oversight – Manage project controls across schedule, cost, risk, and reporting
• Insight & Assurance – Transform data into strategic insight, supporting senior decision-making
• Team Development – Mentor and grow junior professionals, embedding best practice across controls
• Proactive Risk Management – Identify issues early and implement solutions to keep delivery on track
• Stakeholder Influence – Build trust with clients, contractors, and leadership teams to shape outcomes

About You – What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a proven leader in project controls with:

• Experience managing controls on major infrastructure programmes
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, cost systems, and earned value management
• Strong familiarity with NEC contracts and project reporting frameworks
• Leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate across disciplines
• Excellent communication, with the confidence to influence at a strategic level
