Role: Project Assistant

Salary: £40,000–£50,000

Location: London (Hybrid)

Contract: 12-month FTC

Start Date: October

My client is seeking a highly proactive Project Assistant/Coordinator with start-up experience, ideally within the tech space. You will be joining a brand-new team of nine to deliver an exciting initiative within a highly established organisation.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working and the chance to partner with key stakeholders across the business. It’s a unique opportunity to join at the ground level and contribute to a project with huge potential for scale and impact.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions to keep the project on track
  • Facilitate communication between the project team, external stakeholders, and customers
  • Track progress across workstream milestones and prepare regular updates/reports
  • Support logistical arrangements for workshops, events, and stakeholder meetings
  • Assist with invoices, expenses, and procurement documentation in line with budget guidelines

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Project Coordinator/Assistant, ideally in a start-up or tech environment
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Clear and confident communicator (written and verbal)
  • Familiarity with project management and office software tools
  • Positive, proactive, and flexible team player
  • Interest in project management principles and a willingness to learn
  • Exposure to start-ups, tech environments, or cross-functional projects
