An exciting career opportunity to join our Energy System team for an experienced Project Development Manager supporting SSE's journey to Net Zero. The passionate, dynamic and innovative team has an established track record of designing building services to deliver energy efficiency and decarbonisation across several national frameworks currently delivering 3000tCO2 of savings annually. The growth ambition for the team is to design, build, deliver and measure Energy Systems that support campuses and large commercial developments. We encourage and foster a collaborative working environment, which includes the widespread adoption of hybrid working which can vary from site visits, office work and remote (UK) wide.

What is the Role?

As a Project Development Manager your role will span the breadth of our propositions, managing the development ofprojects across several disciplines and geographies. Your initial focus will be on developing and delivering energy performance contracts (EPCs)which combine multiple technologies. However, you willdemonstrate the ability manageof development including the construction phase plans for net zero retrofits (M&E installations), microgeneration, private networks, solar carports, rooftop solar, energy storage systems,district heating and electricvehicle charging infrastructure.
