·Demonstrable experience in project and event management across live, hybrid and virtual events.

·Experience of direct management and oversight of; delegate data handling, registration build and management, rooming lists, travel manifests, dietary requirements and other key logistical elements

·Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices, meeting quality standards and with client service at the forefront

·Exceptional organisational skills, an approachable style, a keen eye for detail and adherence to deadlines and budgets

·The ability to manage multiple or complex projects including large quantities of data in a professional and compliant way

·Great communication, collaborations and coordination skills

·Highly computer literate, with experience using systems or software, including Microsoft Office and experience of registration platforms

·A proactive and productive team member with a can-do attitude, innovative mindset

Full job description:

Reporting to: project director

Main Purpose of Role:

Responsible for delivering small to medium projects (up to £100k) or defined workstreams within larger programmes. Contribute to project planning activities, maintain strong client relationships whilst working in accordance with mcm’s policies, procedures and quality standards throughout each stage of the project lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities of the Role:

·Upholding ourcompany culture by demonstrating and endorsing the company’s beliefs,values, and behaviours

·Contributing and supporting the delivery of successful pitches and tender responses

·Creating and delivering clear, effective briefs for content, creative and film

·Preparation and ongoing management of budgets, adhering to internal processes including recording quotes, creating PO's, payment schedules, processing invoices accurately and completing post event reconciliation

·Ensuring project resourcing is scoped accurately, communicated effectively and conflicts are resolved

·Setting, communicating, and managing timelines and priorities on assigned projects

·Managing large volumes of data efficiently over multiple projects, including presenting data according to the audience and compliance requirements

·Engaging and managing suppliers, including venues, caterers, registration platform providers, technical production partners, speakers, entertainment, travel, creative services and our health and safety partner

·Management of travel and accommodation arrangements for internal teams, clients and suppliers

·Shipping of event related materials internationally – including ensuring all legal requirements are adhered to

·Preparation of critical paths, pre-production documentation, onsite schedules and health and safety / crisis management plans to ensure proactive and thorough contingency planning

·Supporting larger projects by recording and communicating project management updates to the Project Lead/Account Director throughout the project lifecycle

·Delivering outstanding customer service in accordance with the mcm Client Servicing Protocol

·Delivering a seamless experience for our clients, achieving target client satisfaction scores

·Delivering all projects to client expectations - on brief, within budget and with a strong focus on maintaining / maximising the project margin

·Identifying and communicating issues or risks affecting the budget or margin

·Ensuring projects are reconciled in accordance with mcm process and in a timely manner

·Actively participating in internal and external debriefs for the purposes of review and continual improvement

Accountable for:

·Delivering a minimum of 4.5/5 client satisfaction score on all projects

·Maximising project profitability and achieve profit targets where you are the project lead

·Delivering all assigned projects using demonstrable and effective project management methods, on time and to budget including management of conflicting priorities without compromising results

·Ensuring project teams are informed, effective and productive

·Ensuring all project information and tracking is up to date and accurate

·Solving project delivery challenges, proactively escalating when required

Experience & Requirements:

·Demonstrable experience in project and event management across live, hybrid and virtual events. ·Knowledge and application of project management principles

·Ability to manage and present large quantities of data efficiently and compliantly

·Highly computer literate with a proven ability to pick up and use new systems or software, including experience of Microsoft Office software

·Strong focus on customer satisfaction and audience requirements

·Pro-active team member, bringing innovative ideas and a can-do attitude to a team

·Administration, liaison, and coordination experience

·Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

·Experience using registration platforms (CrowdComms or Cvent) would be an advantage
