Salary: £45,000 p.a Basic + Performance-Based Commission (c £100,000 p.a. OTE)

We are now seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in M&E and Renewables to join our team and drive excellence across our expanding portfolio.

Role Overview

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of the full project lifecycle from tender through to delivery on a range of M&E and renewable energy projects. You will lead internal teams, liaise with external stakeholders, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.

This is a client-facing role with significant potential for developing new business opportunities. Candidates who secure new client contracts will be eligible for additional commission-based incentives that could potentially take the package to c.£100k per annum.

Key Responsibilities

·Support pre-construction activities including design, estimating, tenders, and bid submissions.

·Work closely with the MD on agreeing contract terms and conditions for each project.

·Manage multiple M&E and renewable energy projects from conception to completion to the highest standards of quality, health & safety.

·Develop and maintain detailed project plans to achieve the agreed company schedules and budgets.

·Oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of systems including but not limited to: Mechanical services (HVAC, plumbing, etc.), Electrical installations, Renewable technologies (ASHP, Solar PV, MVHR, etc.).

·Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver works in line with programme.

·Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company quality standards.

·Lead client meetings, report on project progress, and manage expectations throughout.

·Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings.

·Actively contributes to business growth, bringing in new clients and opportunities.

·Help in building the Radiant Team by recruiting key personnel to match our business plans and ambitions.

·Play an important role in growing the supply chain capability and capacity.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

·Suitable experience managing Mechanical, Electrical and/or renewable energy projects and/or a background in equipment fit-out.

·Experience in Commercial or Residential Sectors but ideally both.

·Strong technical knowledge of building services and low-carbon technologies.

·Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

·Excellent problem-solving skills.

·Excellent Risk Management abilities.

·Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

·Commercial awareness with experience in budgeting and cost control.

·Experience in negotiation.

·Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to sites as required.

·Possess the ability to inspire and lead teams.

·Adaptable and flexible.

Desirable:

·Relevant degree or recognised qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering or

Project Management or Quantity or Building Surveying

·SMSTS or equivalent site management training.

·Experience with design & build contracts.

·Existing client base or track record of generating new business.

·Experience in Public Sector, NHS or Defence Sectors would be an advantage.
